Marine President’s Own Principal Timpani

Likely wasn’t advertised and was just internal. I’m not sure if there has been in the past, but the marine band hasn’t had a dedicated timpanist for a while and would rotate players based on desire to play/needs of the band. My guess is they wanted to establish a more permanent spot but weren’t able to get an additional slot so they auditioned from within their current roster. Congrats to Jeff! If not the first, than the first in a long time to hold that chair!
