Anyone hear what happened with the auditions for viola in Dallas? I think there was Associate Principal and maybe some a section vacancy or something.
Both 3rd Chair and section were no hires.
They were no hires. It is, unfortunately, incorrect that someone won this audition.
Sofia Basile from Colorado Symphony actually won it but they offered her a 1-year contract and she turned it down.
