I heard there was a superfinal round, in which all 4 candidates were awarded spots (3 first violins, 1 second violin). In addition to Vivian Kukiel, I heard the other winnners were Melody Ye Yuan (section violin, San Diego Symphony), Weilu Zhang (section violin, St Louis Symphony), and Katherine Woo (assistant principal 2nd, NJ Symphony).
