I’ve been told that NACO will proceed with an invite-only audition / trial process beginning next season. Assuming this means there will not be a new National round.
The trial process seems to be underway. They invited a few players to perform with the orchestra. The invites included Charles Lampert from the audition but I hear he is out of the race. Other invites have been Paul Philbert, Mike Kemp, Jonathan Rance, Alex Orfaly and Jay Ritchie.
Trials were completed and this audition was a no-hire.

Brad Davis and Charles Lampert were awarded trials. Jacob Hord was the 3rd finalist.
Finals are on Feb 5.
