There was an audition held for this position back in January 2020. Does anyone know what happened with it?

I heard they offered another candidate trial weeks in Jan 2023 .
There was at least one trial given for this position that is happening this fall season.
NYP website lists Pascual Martinez Forteza as "Acting Associate Principal" and since this was over 2 years ago I'm going to guess they haven't hired anyone ...
