It's great to have these results somewhere, but before you share, is everyone getting consent from the winning person/persons that it's okay to share this information? There are several cases I've seen where people were offered trials when they are still on probation elsewhere. I've taken auditions while on probation, and I generally try not to broadcast to the orchestra where I'm trying to get tenure if I'm going to take another audition out of respect for them. It's not as taboo as it was in the past to keep auditioning while you're hot on the trail, but there are still some coworkers that would not look on it too kindly.
If you post someone winning a trial without their consent, and they are on probation elsewhere, you're putting them at risk of it affecting their tenure process in their current job if they don't get offered the position after the trial. The tenure process is already stressful enough without external factors at play. Winning the job is just the beginning. I've been in positions where every little thing is scrutinized so having something out of my control, like someone random posting my name on a forum without my consent, could be good reason for me not to keep my current job plus I might not pass the trial.
From a moderator perspective - it would definitely be ideal if permission is always asked, out of common courtesy, before an individual’s name is shared anywhere in the forums. If your name is shared against your wishes, we advise you to send a direct message to a site admin, or send an email to auditionforum@gmail.com and request it be removed. We will respond as quickly as we can.
From a personal perspective - if you feel that earning a trial or making a final for a different ensemble would jeopardize your tenure process, I would simply suggest that you may have big ger fish to fry than what is written in this forum.
As if word doesn't get out anyway.
