Just putting this out for discussion - the story continues to heat up regarding conduct of conductor Carlos Kalmar at the Cleveland Institute of Music. This article is very thorough and well-researched, especially with regards to the financial backstory of CIM and their desire to move to the Curtis/Colburn/Yale tuition-free model and to be a leading trainer of professional orchestral musicians.
