Want to ask reason why Minnesota splitting committees for their prelim auditions? And for some candidates can be play in the hall but some only can be the a room and even could see the shadow of committees??( not very clear but still could see a bit)

MN is not the only orchestra to do this. I believe Cincinnati does as well. I'm personally not a fan of the practice, as one committee tends to end up conducting a more aggressive prelim than the other. Ironically, the urban myth is that the "hall committee" is usually tougher in most split prelims. Not sure why.
Most often committees are split due to either a very large candidate pool, or due to tight scheduling with orchestra services or both. By their nature they have to be held in two different venues simultaneously. It's a bit strange to see shadows of the committee, but that also means that they cannot see you at all.
